Dear NYGKA Family,
I hope everyone is enjoying his or her summer. This is the time of year to share new experiences, make new friends and have a lot of fun.
To all the students who performed in our Spring Spectacular you were absolutely awesome!
To all of you who participated in our summer camps Yellow/Green, Purple/Brown and Blackbelt you were all incredible and I had so much fun watching everyone succeed!
And to all those still training in our summer school program keep up the great work!
To all of our fine young instructors who attend those classes thank you for your service to all of our students this summer.
I want to wish good fortune to Sensei Sara who will be attending Syracuse University, Sensei Daniel who will be attending N.Y.U and Josh Lieberman who will be attending Columbia. We will all look forward to seeing you during the holidays. Sensei Ilene Levy will be returning to Hong Kong with Matt and Josh and we wish them Godspeed!.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you return to the dojo in just 6 more weeks. Until then remember to practice 5 minutes a day, read at least 30 minutes everyday and have as much fun as possible this summer.
Karate training is training for life.
Be Ready!
